Installation Errors:
You will find that most of the error messages within the Class Server offer very explicit directions to assist in problem solving. The most common errors include:
- Wrong browser or wrong browser version. --> In order to use the Class Server, you must use Internet Explorer 6.0 or above.
- Wrong security settings within the browser. --> ActiveX must be set to enambled or prompt. This can be done by clicking on the Tools menu within the browser and modifying your security settings.
- Not having administrative priveleges on your computer. --> In some schools, the administrator sets up the individual computers so that only the administrator can install or remove programs. If this is the case at your school, you will need to contact your administrator to help you install the Class Server.
