During the first week of July some 150 educators from 18 countries will convene in Beirut, Lebanon to promote cross-cultural education through student-centered learning projects. The conference will be hosted by iEARN-Lebanon in partnership with iEARN-USA, and in cooperation with iEARN country programs around the world.

iEARN projects combine information technologies, project based learning, group cooperation, and cultural exchange across the major curriculum areas. Presenters at the conference will showcase iEARN programs through a series of workshops that demonstrate youth empowerment through projects in environmental sciences, social studies, arts, language arts, and mathematics.
