We've officially launched www.geospatial21.org!
Everyone here at the studio knew it was only a matter of time before we reached outer space, despite the fact that our Kidz Online space station is still bogged down in R&D. We've broken into the exciting science of satellites, remote sensing, global positioning systems, and other tools of the geospatial technology industry through our $1 million grant from the President's High Growth Job Training Initiative.
Never one to play alone, Kidz Online has invited NASA's Center for Distance Learning (CDL) along for the ride. NASA CDL's Emmy-winning programming will soon be offered on our Geospatial21 website. We've become fast friends with the crew at NASA, but don't ask if they told us about their little green men - we promised not to tell.
